We are looking for an experienced leader with passion for people and business to take on the exciting role as People & Culture Centre of Expertise Manager. As Centre of Expertise Manager you have an important role for the future execution and development of common HR services to Inter IKEA Group companies in Sweden. To succeed being the preferred service provider we need to secure a strong HR foundation and that the HR processes in scope are working well and constantly develops in terms of business needs, lower costs, quality and efficiency.

IKEA Älmhult AB is part of the Inter IKEA group of companies and an independent entity from the three core businesses, Industry, Franchise and Range & Supply in Sweden. With a unique role to support the positioning of “IKEA in Älmhult”, IKEA Älmhult AB works to secure the development of Älmhult as an attractive and great place to work, live and visit, today and tomorrow. Beside this IKEA Älmhult AB have a number of Inter IKEA Group in Sweden assignments and is the Holding company for Värdshuset i Älmhult AB, IKEA Museum AB and IKEA Property AB.

Job Description

The role as People & Culture Centre of Expertise Manager is organized as a part of the assignment that offers HR specialist competence to all Inter IKEA Group companies in Sweden. You will have an active role in building up the organization. This is a great opportunity for you to join contributing in building up the capabilities and organisation for People & Culture Expertise.

Qualifications

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for the strategic and operational aspects of the areas of Expertise: Pension & Insurance, Compensation, Benefits, Mobility, Work environment & Health, Co-worker relations/Labour Law and future expertise i.e. Payroll.
  • Be responsible for building and securing the business model, organisation and competences according to defined capabilities and defined roles.
  • Continuously develop our assignment, business model and processes in order to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Secure performance for services including clear KPI’s
  • Build stakeholder relations and work in close collaboration with all Inter IKEA Group companies in Sweden.
  • Be responsible for aligning and translating strategic business objectives & initiatives to HR/people requirements in close cooperation with the people & culture community in Inter IKEA Group.


You have a strong belief in leading business through people and you are a true ambassador of IKEA culture and values. With strategical and analytical thinking, you have the ability to translate findings into necessary actions. You thrive by change, and your experience and leadership capabilities enable you to lead in change. You have strong facilitation, communication and networking skills with the ability to influence and inspire the people around you, both in the team and throughout stakeholders in the organisation. You have experience in creating, implementing and follow up of long-term strategic plans and a strong engagement and commitment to develop people and ensuring great performance in line with the business needs. You have the ability to understand complex situations and simplify the outcome.

We are looking for an you with a minimum of 10 years in a leading position in the business and HR field. You have good knowledge of a broad set of HR practices, policies, processes, regulations and legislations within the field of operating a business.

Additional Information

This is a permanent position, full-time (40 hours per week). The position is based in Älmhult reporting to the Managing Director, IKEA Älmhult AB.
