We are looking to appoint an IS Engineering Application Manager for mechanical CAD. Operating from sites in Mannheim, Bejing, Bangalore and Zurich, our IS Service team for Engineering Applications provides high-end services in support of day-to-day business activities at ABB Power Grids. • Manage and harmonize our portfolio for mCAD applications
• Support business in all matters of mCAD from demand evaluation over installation and operation, efficient usage of the tool, training, license handling until decommission and replacement
• Maintain and improve harmonize service model for mCAD in coordination with various Stakeholders and the Business and the IS Organization
• Manage and coordinate small and medium size projects in relevant area
• Support Vendor and License Management with your expertise in relevant areas
• Be a global team player, contributing to temporary work teams, share expert knowledge, and offer guidance during completion of tasks in respective area.

• Bachelor's degree and minimum of 8 years of experience using and managing mCAD applications
• Proofen experience in mCAD for mechanical design and good understanding of business needs.
• In-depth understanding and experience for 3D and 2D CAD Applications (preferably Creo and AutoCAD)
• Emphasis on Information Technology
• Proven track record in working with virtual teams as well as distributed stakeholders
• Systematic, business-oriented approach, receptiveness to new technologies, and good communication skills
• High degree of cultural awareness as well as commitment, drive, and a keen sense of responsibility
• Fluent command of English, both written and spoken, as well as willingness to travel on business assignments (<10%)
