About Sendify

“The Spotify of Logistics” is what Göteborgs-Posten called us. Sendify is one of Gothenburg’s and Sweden’s most fast growing startups. We recently raised our first funding round of €1.8 million, will grow our revenue by 300%, internationalize and at the same time hire 17 new colleagues. Sendify offers small companies a simple and affordable shipping solution, so that less time and money is spent on logistics and more on running the business. With Sendify’s freight booking service, companies can book and compare shipments as simply as flights or hotels. Today, Sendify’s office at Vasagatan in Gothenburg is a hub for 25 co-workers striving to help small businesses to succeed. Sendify has drawn attention both in media and the tech industry, not only for the innovative shipping solution but also for leading and inspiring to an including startup culture and a sustainable company building. This is exemplified with the initiative Women’s Startup Club as well as the participation at Gbg Tech Week. 

About you

We think you are curious, creative, talkative (in several languages), and that you love to take on new challenges. In a team that faces new types of problems and insights every day, it is important to be open to new ideas and to readapt quickly.

We believe that you have:

• Ongoing or finished university level education within business, economics, management, technology, sales, language or similar

• An advanced level of French, Spanish, Polish, Italian or one of the languages as native tongue

• Great curiosity and interest in international business relationships and internationalization

• Good communication skills via phone

• Good analytical abilities

You like to present and discuss new ideas and perspectives, and are thrilled to investigate undiscovered areas. 

Your responsibilities

As a part of team Business Development you will work in a high pace, with large individual responsibility, to:

1. Find potential customers for Sendify internationally

2. Conduct customer interviews to understand the needs of these customers

3. Analyze the interviews and the markets, to create a bigger understanding of the international landscape for Sendify

We are evaluating candidates continuously, so do not wait to apply! The internship will be paid (matching CSN) and we guarantee necessary tutorship from senior employees, which will give you valuable experience and merits. The internship will start as soon as possible and will be part time during May for onboarding and full time in June and July with possibilities for extension afterwards.
