We are looking for ambitious DevOps leads to Engineering System, who will work with Engineering Development teams, to build systems for Nordea.

Welcome to the Engineering System unit in Technology. We add value by automating and streamlining our operations and processes to enable rapid development and deployment of software.

As DevOps Lead, you'll play an important role driving and delivering the Nordea DevOps strategy and journey together with highly skilled colleagues. The leads will together with their units be responsible for the tools and processes which enables Nordea to move towards a more modern automated landscape and ways of working. ​

We are looking for People Leaders for one of the following teams:

• Container Automation
• Telemetry
• DevOps Enablers

With focus on:

• DevOps
• Technology driver and lead
• People leadership and development

You will join a team of highly motivated team of engineers with devotion to technology and problem solving. The role requires to technically lead a team of engineers, while being hands on and develop/engineer yourself. The role also requires you to be able to come up with ideas and continues processes improvements, and improvements for how the team works. The job requires strong technology skills, the ability to create and execute strategy, and problem solving. 

A technical background is highly preferred.

The role is based either in Helsinki, Stockholm, Gdynia or Gdańsk.

Your experience and background:

• hands-on experience and understanding the principles behind DevOps, CI/CD, Cloud and Lean
• with the ability to lead other people and make them follow towards the common objectives
• Data Science (relevant for Telemetry team)
• Container technology (Docker, Kubernetes)
