When Covid-19 hit, we were in the middle of our BETA product development phase. Now our product has been put to test and is yielding overwhelmingly positive reactions among our test users. As one of them said: “Teemly is our office now. It is where we work, it is much better than the systems we have used earlier. In Teemly we work together, talk ad hoc.”

As we approach our launch beyond BETA, we are looking for a Vice President Product, with a design background; eager to drive the product design together with the founders. Our small and fast-growing “teem” is spread out internationally and works almost fully remotely. We use our virtual office on a daily basis, so you will also cater to our own needs. The founders are located in Stockholm and haven’t physically met in months.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a key person in our company, who wants to work closely with the founders and lead the product development. You have a passion for user-centric design. You love to analyze data, collect user feedback & and obsess about NPS. You transform insights into user stories, identify pain points and create new features that can improve the user experience. You are used to collaborating with developers in order to find meaningful user-centric solutions. You understand the challenges in remote teams. You are a team player who can contribute to an amazing and healthy team environment and are eager to join us on our mission of truly connecting distributed teams. If this is you - keep reading!

What we believe you have done before: 

• You have worked 5+ years in UX, product, interaction & service design (you’re an expert)

• You have tirelessly transformed user insights into user stories & product features; and have turned a product into being best in its class

• You have a tech product background; ideally from the gaming industry

• You are analytical & base your decisions on data

• You have startup experience & the ability to drive and initiate improvements

• You have a basic of Front-end development skills

• You have worked on creating tech solutions that make individuals wish they had found your product earlier 

• You have extensively thought about user psychology and had countless conversations with users to dig deep and understand them 

• You have led and developed teams, and received praise for being a good leader

You are a passionate designer obsessed with creating flawless appreciated products, services & experiences for your users. You like simple and thoughtful products. You share our passion for fostering cohesion and fun at work so much, that you are willing to work hard to enable teams across the world to feel as if they are together. You are a leader with a can-do attitude, who has the ability to both be hands-on while building and leading a team. You are unafraid of getting out of your comfort zone & wear multiple hats when needed. You have the guts to challenge in a humble way, and the creativity to serve users with ideas they had no clue that they were asking for. What drives you is neither the title nor the money. You share our view that diversity is a good thing. You are available full time and you’re in it for the long run. 

What we offer

A position in the leadership team of Teemly. You will be working hand in hand with the co-founders setting the product roadmap with the vision, As we grow, and our product performs, you will lead the Product team. Teemly is currently at an extremely exciting phase, with a lot happening. If you join us, you join a hard-working, diverse, remote-first team, offering loads of team love & fun. If you work from Stockholm, a physical office location is included. But since our product is a virtual office, physical presence is not a must.

At Teemly, product and teem is everything. Teemly is on a mission to truly connect distributed teams by introducing the world’s best virtual office. We are in expansion mode, our BETA product is in testing and we are approaching launch. What is a virtual office? Non-co-located colleagues deserve a (virtual) place where spontaneous laughter happens, where they get quick help, regardless of their location. Teemly was founded in September 2019 by Oleg (software engineer & data scientist) and Charlotte (sales, marketing, strategy & recruitment background). At Teemly, things move fast.
