Did your summer plans get cancelled?

Virotea is looking for Business Development interns to join us for a six-week summer internship during July and August. We will be able to offer three students the opportunity to experience firsthand how it is working at a startup striving to streamline patient care and create meaningful activities through the use of Virtual Reality.

Virotea was founded in 2017 focusing mainly on addressing loneliness and depression in long term care facilities. Since then we have expanded into other social care and daily assistance segments such as LSS and have further ambitious expansion plans for the upcoming months. This is where you come in!

What will we be doing?

Virotea strives to become the go-to VR partner within a vast amount of industries and different use-cases. So, what are these use-cases? During our six-weeks we will be doing a market research project together, laying the foundation for Viroteas strategic roadmap for the upcoming months.

As an intern, you will have full ownership of your industry with the possibility of working fully remotely with flexible work hours. Additionally, you will be working closely with our CEO and COO in the development of your project while having weekly pulse checks and workshops with all of the interns to follow the progress. You may also be supporting the CEO directly on various ad-hoc assignments relating to developing and improving our service. At the end of our six weeks, you will finally present your findings in front of the team and give your recommendation on Viroteas course of action.

Are you who we are looking for?

We are looking for talented students with an analytical mindset and a passion for research. You should be a glass-half-full kind of person, seeing solutions, not problems. You should also be able to plan your time efficiently and lead your project relatively independently. Working at a startup means working in a somewhat unstructured environment and wearing many hats, so we also hope this won’t problem for you!

Furthermore, it is good if you are currently pursuing a degree, or have just graduated within the fields of Business, Industrial Engineering, Political Science or equivalent. Previous experience within business development or market research would be great but is definitely not a must.
