The Company

PlasticFri is a Greentech startup based in Sweden that has developed a ground-breaking technology to create plant-based and environmentally-friendly alternatives for as a replacement for disposable plastic products.

Earlier this year, PlasticFri was awarded as the "world's most innovative sustainability startup" in competition with 1402 companies worldwide!

The Role

As an accounting responsible, you have overall responsibility for PlasticFri's finance function. You will have an operational role and be responsible for reporting, budget management, administration and financial reconciliations. The role also includes coordinating the work between external consultants and auditors and working closely with PlasticFri's CEO with budgeting and other support.

Responsibilities include:

·       Develop the Group's accounting and reporting system to ensure that accounting principles are followed

·       Monthly, quarterly and annual accounts

·       Annual Reports, Cash flow statements

·       Tax calculations and declarations

·       Budgeting and budget follow-up

·       Payroll administration, as well as other financial administration

·      Bi-weekly meeting with the executive team

Ideal Candidate

·      Passionate about environment and sustainability

·       Fluent in English and Swedish in both speech and writing

·       Graduate or student in the field of business administration, ex. accounting, finance, management or other relevant expertise

·       Experience in accounting

·       You can work independently and meet deadlines

·       You enjoy working in the startup environment

·      You are driven, competitive and not afraid to take risks or face rejections on the way to success
