We are a team of small and cross-competent teams each owning a product end-to-end with a mission to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations. About the role
In Customer Fulfilment domain you will be a part of our Partner Connectivity Product Area, responsible for one or several third-party warehouse setups with one of our key logistics suppliers.
As Product Owner you, in collaboration with your team, create the product roadmap and have a deep understanding of the target market/industry. To succeed you need to build strong relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the team’s effort is aligned with overall strategy.
You will play an important role in ensuring accurate and flexible customer fulfilment with our partners within carriers, warehouses, marketplaces, brokers and garment suppliers through seamless integration and quick on-boarding.
We are on an agile transformation journey where we must implement new agile way of working with our partners, which you will lead.
A part of the work is to deliver functional IT-integration solutions in close collaboration with our logistic suppliers and with other product teams. We face a major challenge in the next few years to move our integration solutions to cloud, and it requires a technical interest and a willingness to understand technically complex solutions, and an ability to lead that delivery.
We are on a journey together which means there is no clear path. You will play an important role in building our product, setting the foundation and creating our future organisation. We want to become much more data driven and explorative in new technologies. We want to move into DevOps organisation where our products have a strong focus on operational stability.
Responsibilities
• Take end-to-end ownership of the product (full lifecycle from ideation to optimization) with ultimate accountability for business and customer value delivered
• Set ambitious and clear product mission and OKRs and translate these into a prioritized roadmap and team backlog that drive agreed KPIs
• Set a budget and follow up costs for product team and logistic suppliers
• Monitor and manage financial impact of decisions and priorities of the product team, including Business case creations for further growth opportunities.
• Lead a cross-functional team including business experts, engineers and data analysts to execute and deliver value
• Negotiating contracts/agreements with suppliers
• Work closely with internal stakeholders at HM Group
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of market / industry landscape and online warehouse needs through gathering & analysing qualitative and quantitative insights to adjust strategy and priorities dynamically
• Clearly communicating the product mission, OKRs, and backlogs across the organization
• Define MVPs, manage product backlog priorities, and strategically de-scope to achieve rapid feedback cycles

• Have a degree in business and/or engineering
• Experience of heading a Product as a Product owner
• At least 5 year’s work experience and previous leadership responsibility
• Experience in leading a cross functional team
• Knowledge and experience in bought services
• Proven track record of strong salesmanship, communication, negotiation and networking skills, both with internal and external partners
• Analytical with attention to details
• Strong in planning, prioritizing, execution, and follow up together with a “can-do attitude”
• Motivated to work in an environment that allows you to work and take business decisions independently
• Fluent in English both written and verbal
• It is beneficial if you have previous experience from working with warehousing and/or logistic solutions
