Quality in investment data is crucial for a great customer experience. We are now looking for two Business Analysts, who will bring analytical skills and investment product competecies to set requirements for better data and communicate these requirements to IT developers.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Wealth & Investment Advice. We add value by ensuring well functioning customer journeys related to savings advice, products and data. We are part of an Agile Release Train supporting an agile environment where we take ownership of the solutions. Data is a new area for the team and as Business Analyst, you’ll play a valuable role in developing our platform for investment product data, setting up working processes and use them to ensure that we on an ongoing basis have qualitity in our data.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Be part of a new data team responsible for investment product data, used for investment advice, customer services, and legal reporting.
  • Use your analytical skills and product competencies to set requirements for our data platform.
  • Set-up working processes for how to ensure we have the correct investment data with the right quality.
  • Build the platform for data together with IT developers.
  • Test the platform and work with import of needed data.
  • Work closely together with other specialists in Investment Center.
  • Work closely together with other internal Nordea clients/stakeholders, including Personal Banking, Private Banking, Business Banking and Investment Product Operations.

You’ll join Investment Center, which is the central part of enabling good quality investment advice and good investment products for Nordea customers in Personal Banking, Private Banking, Business Banking and Investment and Securities Advice. We have an ambitious and diversified organisation across the Nordics.

Wealth & Investment Advice is responsible for the advice concept and is part of an agile release train where we focus on creating well-functioning processes for advice, fund trading, investment services and data. The role can be based in either of our Nordic locations.

  • Have analytical competencies - be able to systematically break down data inconsistencies and investigate the root causes and how we can set up processes that can find errors in our data and correct them.

  • Master collaboration in practise -  work closely with other SMEs, always asking questions and investigating alternative solutions.
  • Show you are a team player - understanding that this is a new team, not all roles are defined and you are not afraid of helping where you can. This means that you take ownership and show passion for moving this area to a new level.
  • Great communication skills - clearly communicate complex issues in an easy and understandable manner to a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Excellent English language skills are required.

Your experience and background:  

  • Experience with business development and digital applications in an agile and cross-country organisation.
  • Proven experienced in excel e.g. not afraid of more advanced excel functions, like pivot tables and working with the data ribbon.
  • Understanding of databases and work with SQL, run and/or write SQL code or similar.
  • Understanding the value chain e.g. what data is needed in each part of the value chain.
  • Understanding the business - is data needed in all situations or do we have areas where we can accept lower quality and how does different data/information impact dialogues with customers or the advice we give.
  • Understanding investment product (instrument) features and a product’s master data, and understanding investment products (wrappers/agreements).
