What we offer
We are searching for Digital Internal Control Specialists that will become a part of our Digital Internal Control team. Digital Internal Control is a function within the Digital organization at Volvo Cars, primarily working with ensuring and enabling that our digital solutions are protected in accordance with internal and external requirements and regulations from an Information Security and Data Protection perspective. The team has just started a transformation journey to become a more trusted advisor within the digital risk and compliance area, with objectives such as integrating Internal Control into an agile way of working.

 

Scope
As a Digital Internal Control Specialist you will report to the manager of the Governance & Internal Control area where the function is located. Internal Control Digital is primarily working within the areas of risk and compliance related to Information Security and Data Protection, but other type of digital compliance areas could also be part of the scope. As a second line of defence function, the team's focus is both directed towards supporting and advising the organzation in Digital Internal Control matters, but also acting as a monitoring function performing several initiatives where adherence to control requirements is evaluated and reported upon.

 

What you’ll do
The work includes both working with regular task as part of the daily operations, such as performing information classifications, control reviews for new digital solutions, managing self assessments, mitigating and resolving control defeciencies, and general advise/support to the organization.

The role also includes improving our ways of working and strengthen the collaboration with the orgnization in order increase awareness/understanding of Internal Controls and adopting our processes to a more agile way of working. A large initiative that is about to kick-off is the planning for and in a later stage implementation of a new GRC-technology where Internal Control Digital is represented as a key area in the GRC-initiative currently ongoing at Volvo Cars  
 

You and your skills
From a professional standpoint we are looking for team members with the following experience and key competences:
•    IT internal control and data protection expertise (minimum 5 years experience), e.g. from working as an IT-auditor or within an Internal Control team at another large company
•    Experience from applicable industry frameworks and security standards, e.g. ISO 27001, NIST, Cobit etc.  
•    Preferrably you have a relevant certification in information security, e.g. CISA, CISM
•    Preferably experience from working with GRC Technology
•    Preferably experience from working with organizations that has performed an agile transformation

 

On a personal level
You are a self-starter, willing to take ownership and drive initiatives to resolution and have an ability to work both independent and also close toghether with the rest of the team and various stakeholders.

Competence and experience is important, but personality is key. We are looking for someone who is passionate, engaged and have excellent interpersonal skills to be able to contribute to the continued transformation of Internal Control Digital
