Frontend developer - H&M Business Tech - Backoffice UI team i Stockholm

Business Tech is the new agile product organization within the larger H&M group. You will be part of a team owning a product end-to-end with a mission to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.

We are now looking for Frontend developers to the Checkout Area, to bring in new competence to our new organization.

As a Frontend developer at H&M Business Tech, you will embark on a journey that will lead to something new and exciting. You are an important team player in this transformation, and so we believe you are communicative, full of drive, and have a “you build it you run it” mindset.  

We are looking for an experienced React.JS developer who can take lead and act as a mentor. As we are exploring new routines for the store Backoffice operations, we want someone that can add ways on how tech can be utilized to automate and provide a smooth admin experience.  

Meet the team:

You will join the Digital Checkout cluster and the Backoffice UI Checkout team which is a product team that produces and delivers frontend code that is used by H&M store staff every day. The team is recently formed focusing on setting the future way of working supported by React and will continue to build new functionality that is desired and wanted by our staff, worldwide. 

 This is a strong cross-functional team that consists of 4 people who together design, develop, test, implement, and analyze all our Customers’ behaviors with the tools at our disposal.

You will also be a part of the Frontend Competence Community in which you will be able to share, learn, and participate in evolving the Frontend community within H&M Group. 

Main responsibilities: Your team will be highly autonomic and have ownership of the products you develop. Some of your daily work includes:  

• Focus on developing and implementing high-quality code. 
•  Be active in the story flow from idea creation until analysis.
• Code review other frontend developer’s pull requests.
• Support and collaborate with the new UI/UX for Frontend for Backoffice.
• Work and support closely with staff desks and Backoffice.
• Mentor others and Enable new ways of working.

Main requirements: As a developer at H&M Group and Business Tech, you will work with a broad and holistic view. In addition to this, we believe you have:   

• Strong coding skills in JavaScript 
• Experience with React.js development (including Redux) 
• Experience and knowledge of API design 
• Experience and knowledge of writing testable and high-quality code

Good to have:

• Experience in Agile software development practices (Automated testing, mob/pair programming, CI/CD, etc.).
• Comfortable in discussing product design and improvements. 
• Experience from Azure DevOps and/or other cloud environments.
• An eye for design and experience collaborating with UI/UX.
