You must be able to act swiftly and be flexible, whether it is due to market change, organizational changes or new IT systems. You will play an active role in developing the futures- and derivatives trading desk, where you will have a significant role in forming and developing our platform in close collaboration with the head trader on the desk.
This is an opportunity for you to join a highly specialized trading team with the vision to become a leading European trading desk, specialized in complex and sometimes illiquid trades. The Equity and Future Trading is a team in Nordea Asset Management, based in Copenhagen and Stockholm. The primary task for the team is to source liquidity to our portfolios managers and decide and execute trading strategies effectively. This job is based in Stockholm where we execute Nordic equities and global futures – both fixed income and equity futures.
What you’ll be doing:
You will focus and drive the futures and derivatives trading forward. You must have a passion for developing trading technologies/systems within the area and desire to influence how the futures/derivatives trading will look like.
You will be communicating with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, which is why strong communication skills in English and one of the Nordic languages is a requirement.
