Northfork is a B2B SaaS company that works to accelerate our grocery retail customers online revenue by adding recipe shopping technology as a seamless experience independent of platforms; the retailer’s own or publisher partner’s. The Northfork senior fullstack developer understands the customer needs and can translate them into World class technical solutions. You will be responsible for building a product that brings customer value. The role will be mainly programming but you will also lead application architecture and agile ceremonies. We’re entering an exciting phase where we will provide more of the end user, customer facing, experience. Hence we’re looking for someone with experience in both back- and front-end. Your innovative mindset will be key for us and so will your pragmatic approach be. Working in the Tech team you will work closely with the teams within Sales, Marketing and with our customers. You will be involved in supporting our customers with implementing our product, as well as being a crucial part of our product development. We are passionate about making grocery shopping easy. WHAT YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR * Developing the next generation grocery shopping products * Code reviews * Mob programming sessions * Mentorship for more inexperienced developers * Deliver features in sprints together with the rest of the Tech Team * Perform product demos to customers, prospects and internally * Work closely with Gastrofy.se, our R&D platform * Run beta and pilot programs with customers and prospects * Act as a leader within the company * Create, implement and improve product development processes WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE IN SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS * +7 years of experience working as a developer * Demonstrated success developing and releasing world class products * Very experienced in Java * You also have experience in AWS, AWS Aurora, Git, PHP, SQL, javascript, MVC, Docker, React * Devops and very experienced in Linux * Good verbal and communication skills * Excellent teamwork skills * High levels of integrity, autonomy, and self-motivation * Creative, curious and take initiative * Team player and approach work with a can do attitude * Strong problem solving, communications and stakeholder management skills * Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment * You're responsible for your work and you take accountability for it * Agile methodologies WHAT WE BRING TO THE TABLE A competitive salary in a central role of our organisation. You will be a part of a fast paced expansion and you will get to work, remote first, with a distributed tech team with highly skilled developers. REPORTS TO The Northfork Senior Fullstack developer will report to Jens Hansen, the Northfork VP of Tech. LOCATION We value placement in Sweden where we have our development stronghold. The company however works with the principle remote first, however you should be in GMT+1 +-2h.
