Senior Credit Analyst/Deputy Head, Nordea Finance Equipment, Stockholm

Would you like to have a key role in credit analysis and credit risk management within the new established Nordea Finance Equipment (NFE) within Nordea Finance? NFE specialises in financing equipment to companies. The equipment being financed ranges from computers and printers to trucks and large industrial machines. The customers vary in size from large international companies to sole proprietorships. In this position you will have a chance to work in a combined role as a Senior Credit Analyst and also be a functional leader for Credit and Collection Analysts that works effortlessly to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Welcome to Nordea Finance Equipment. We add value to whole Nordea Group and to our customers by managing and developing credit- and risk processes, robust risk-management and analysis focused on the equipment finance. We are acting in strong collaboration with business areas and central functions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Analyse the different risks involved in equipment finance, for example asset risk and customer risk
• Present own credit analysis and monitoring and give your objective conclusions / recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders within NFE
• Be part of the Local Credit Committee in Sweden
• Managing a team of five customer-oriented, self-driven and experienced Credit and Collection Analysts

The role is based in Stockholm. You will report to Head of Credit Nordea Finance Equipment.

Your experience and background:  

• Have a solid experience with credit management e.g. from a credit team within the financial sector
• Understanding of Credit scoring and or rating models in retail or corporate products and ability to apply score models in credit decisions.
• Good logical, analytical, number skills and an understanding of credit risk
• Leadership experience is an advantage
• Excellent written and spoken Swedish & English skills
• At a minimum hold a Bachelor’s Degree within a quantitative field such as economics, mathematics, finance or similar is expected
