We are looking for a polyglot Backend Engineer to join our visionary team of developers on our quest to drive technical innovation and lead the evolution of e-commerce. We are a tight-knit, young and professional team located Wroclaw, Poland and Stockholm, Sweden. The team member we are searching for needs a prolific skill set and an eagerness to grow, learn and solve problems as a team. You will be an important member of our team responsible for building and innovating our all-in-one, data driven commerce platform for B2B and B2C. Our vision is to help fashion and high-touch brands make a bigger impact by giving them the tools to serve the world from a powerful platform. Our scrum teams decide themselves what language to use for services they build. Most of our core business logic is written in PHP 7/8, so a solid knowledge of this language is good. We also use a lot of TypeScript, both with Node.js and for serverless functions, so that is also good to know. Golang and Elixir are pluses, we use them for some services. We rely heavily on extremely optimized access to databases. MySQL/MariaDB, Redis and ElasticSearch. So databases are important. At Centra, we have ambitious goals, and are passionate about what we do. We have a lot of fun together during and outside of work. English is our working language, so you need to be a fluent English speaker.
