While most teams are located in Gothenburg, Stockholm and Lund, Sweden, the EMEA Digital team supports the EMEA Region across 22 markets in 60 countries including over 1500 Retailers along with Volvo Cars staff and partners. The location for this position is Gothenburg  

The EMEA Digital team is a small group that works with our business partners to develop the business while also coordinating & aligning with both market and global counterparts. Do you like working in the intersection between business functions, digital teams and markets? Do you excel at working with new business demands and finding digital solutions to challenges, ensuring that multiple cross-functional teams are driving to the same business goals?

We are now looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst and Scrum Master to work in EMEA Digital who is enthusiastic about empowering data driven decision making. You will be working both with the Global Digital Product teams and a network of Digital Directors across the EMEA markets promoting high collaboration skills to communicate EMEA business needs and champion regional business objectives. You are curious by nature and you enjoy working closely with the business stakeholders to understand their processes and information needs and turn them into well-defined backlog items. You have a background working in agile teams and can comfortably apply agile principles as a scrum master according to the SAFe framework.

 

Your skills and what you’ll do

We are looking for an experienced BI analyst and Scrum Master. You’ll have a good knowledge of business intelligence tools and in supporting data driven environments. You will have experience in working with digital tools as well as be skilled in capturing business needs, carrying out initial solution assessments and defining product requirements. You have been successfully working in agile environments, participating in PI planning sessions and ensuring sound business rationale for prioritisations and backlogs. You have a passion for collaboration, digging in and sometimes being a bit techy but at the same time keeping business and results at the forefront of what you do and how you deliver. A global mindset as well as collaboration and communication skills are essential in this role.

Skillset:

  • Agile methods (SAFe, Scrum)
  • Microsoft BI stack (Power BI, SSAS)
  • Information Modelling
  • Requirements Management

 

Together with your EMEA colleagues, you will

  • Coordinate the day-to-day work of the team using Scrum and SAFe methodology
  • Develop business cases and be a driving force behind the delivery of the solution
  • Collaborate closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and manage the Team Backlog
  • Solve business problems by exploring trends and patterns in data and transform it into actionable insights
  • Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
  • Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
