Would you like to work in the exciting business of Insurance, helping us achieve our goals of growth, sustainability and customer focus?  Nordea Liv och Pension has a balance sheet full of financial instruments invested by our customers, and the Finance team is now looking for a senior accountant to help us manage and analyse the trade flows of these instruments and perform monthly closing and financial regulatory reporting of the same, as well as having a special focus on taxes, working closely with Group Taxes in Nordea as well as Product Specialists in Nordea Liv och Pension.

About this opportunity

Welcome to the Redovisning & Finansiell kontroll team. We add value by providing analysis and support to the business, correct and timely financial statements and regulatory reporting to the FSA as well as focusing directly on the customer by safe keeping the trade flows. As Accountant, Nordea Liv och Pension Stockholm you’ll play a valuable role in maintaining and improving the processes that enable us to deliver.

What you’ll be doing:

• Monthly closing, accounting and reconciliation
• Financial and Tax reporting
• Tradeflow administration and analysis
• Analysis and business support
• Process development
• Project participation

Your experience and background:  

• University degree in finance and/or accounting
• + 5 years relevant qualified experience from audit firm (big 4), bank or insurance business, or other large company accounting experience
• The ability to work in a Swedish speaking environement; to speak, write and read the language as well as proficiency in English
• Experienced user of Excel
