We are building up Volvo Cars online sales capabilities and driving the shift towards direct consumer sales. Our aim is clear – to provide customers with modern, flexible and hassle-free ways to own a car, whether through a Care by Volvo subscription, lease, loan or cash. By that, shaping the future of the automotive industry.
What we offer
Global Online Business is active with the all-inclusive car subscription Care by Volvo in Germany, Netherlands, Norway, United Kingdom and Sweden. We are now looking to expand our online offerings and e-commerce capabilities in existing markets as well as launch new markets. Volvo Cars ambitions and plans within E-commerce are high which puts great demand on building up capabilities and competence. We are therefore looking for Business Developer specialized in E-commerce to join our team.
You will be driving the strategic work of deciding what to launch and in what markets. It includes expanding offers and capabilities in existing markets as well as figuring out what future markets to launch. You will do this by researching market potential, customer requirements, growth potential, online maturity, market regulations and legal requirements as well as our internal capabilities.
What you’ll do
Since customer experience and online solutions is such an integer part of the offer and how it is experienced you will be a key driver of setting requirements on digital user journey for purchase.
Besides doing the strategic groundwork you will also be responsible for continuously developing the online offer with more tactical activities to deliver on commercial targets. You will do so in conjunction with our marketing team, our digital product team, and the local country managers. To succeed in this job, it is essential to collaborate with specialist from local markets, digital development, pricing and many more.
The position includes to set project scoping, perform gap analysis and manage certain implementation projects and also defining success metrics, interpret datasets and propose actions.
