The Group Product & Process Engineering Machining is part of ME and has a global responsibility for the hybrid engines in Skövde and Zhangjiakou, China. The group’s responsibility is to ensure process driven product development, to enable development of efficient and quality assured production processes.

As a member of our team you will be a part of the transformation of process planning and working towards a virtual engineering environment. This journey plays an important role to shorten the lead time in our project as well as increasing the accuracy and quality.

The position requires some travelling. 

 

What you will do

As our next Process Engineer you will take lead for development of new processes methods in the area of electric motor and the electromagnetic system. You will, in close collaboration with Product & Process Engineer and the Project team, ensure an efficient and quality assured process solution. 

 

You will also:

  • Be in contacts with equipment suppliers
  • Support projects and production as expert in advanced method questions.
  • Make investigations and tests of methods for different ways of processing.

 

Do you fit the profile?

You are experienced with product- and process development and good communication skills in English and Swedish, both spoken and written. We see that you have a B.Sc. in Engineering or equivalent competence gained by experience. You shall also have a good knowledge about the process, methods and tools (Teamcenter) at Manufacturing and Reaseach and Development. We also see that you are skilled in Product Development, preferably in aoutomative industry and experienced from electromagnetic systems.
