We deliver state-of-the-art GPS guidance and automation technology for heavy construction machinery, and our ambition is to become the world market leader. Your mission will be to support and develop our position through top grade software in innovative projects.

We are looking for a student who is skilled in Python and AWS or other cloud technology for the web/cloud team ConX.

Leica ConX is a revolutionary product that offers our customers the possibility to monitor work on the construction site in real-time, plan work for the whole project duration, communicate with machines and machine operators. You will create and deliver a world-class, cloud-based 3D environment that integrates the Leica portfolio of surveying and machine control technologies.

Who you are

• Studying an IT-relevant education on a bachelor's- or master's degree level. Preferably, you are studying to become a civil engineer within Data/IT or similar.
• We believe you to have finished more than half of your studies with maybe 2 or 3 semesters left until graduation.
• Experience with Python/Django, cloud computing (preferably AWS), Linux and web stacks including SQL/NoSQL databases
• You have a passion for IT and will thrive in an environment where your knowledge will be used in software development.
• As a person we believe that you are self-sufficient, structured with an eye for details.
• Fluent spoken and written English is a requirement for this position.

The position is expected to begin in September and continue for at least 2 semesters. You should be available for at least 15 hours of work/week, about half of that time should be in our office at Liljeholmen, pending restrictions. Once you have completed your studies, we hope that you will be joining us on a permanent basis if the chance is given.
