MHE Manager to H&M Distribution Center, Eskilstuna

Do you want to take part in an exciting expansion journey at H&M? Distribution center in Eskilstuna is now recruiting to meet our future needs. We are expanding and rebuilding our existing premises in Svista to be a distribution center from 2022 not only for Sweden's stores, but also for Norway's and Iceland's markets. This means that we will supply about 230 stores and our warehouse area will in May 2022 be 40,000 square meters.

Our Distribution Center in Eskilstuna consists of more than 350 committed and motivated H&M colleagues who share our values and take responsibility for the logistics operations and distribution of fashion items for our retail customers across Sweden, Norway, and Iceland.

We are currently looking for a MHE Manager to join our team in Eskilstuna. Are you ready to take on the challenge?  

As a MHE (Material Handling Equipment) Manager you lead your maintenance team and ensure a stable day-to-day MHE Operation in the DC and support improvement opportunities in alignment with global MHE operating principles and standards.

• Profound expertise in MHE engineering and (semi-)automated DC concepts and operations 
• Solid understanding of technical linkages and functional split between MHE, WCS and WMS 
• Excellent managerial skills & project management skills 
• Ability to understand and apply new system features/ updates within a given time frame as well as ability for knowledge transfer 
• Holistic view to look at the bigger perspective with a visionary approach  
• Ability to encourage collaboration, co-creation and people development by empowering others  
• Agile mindset with positive attitude to change & meaningful growth 
• Inclusive & empathetic towards others whilst encouraging diversity  
• Self awareness, understanding your impact on others and contribution to the whole group 
• Degree in Industrial Engineering or closely related field 
• You have at least 2 years of experience in similar role 
• Strong communications and presentations skills in both English and Swedish

This is a full-time position starting with a probationary period of 6 months. The location is based in Eskilstuna and is part of the Logistic Region North Europe. As a MHE Manager, you report directly to the DC Manager. Start date during autumn 2021 or by agreement.
