Habity was founded in Stockholm, Sweden in 2017. Since then, we have transformed the real estate industry by connecting homeowners outside of the traditional housing market and ads platform which kept unchanged for more than 2 decades. So far more than 80,000 homeowners created housing profiles on Habity with a new home joining every 20 minutes. Habity is growing fast and is now looking for a Lead Engineer with possibilities to build your own team in the future. If you have high development skills with great ambition and a positive mindset, then this is the opportunity for you! The responsibilities will cover the full range of designing and developing our product, including discussing new features with stakeholders, implementing them, and improving and scaling our architecture. We build our infrastructure using cloud-native microservices, written primarily in languages of the functional paradigm, preparing for massive scale while maintaining simplicity. Responsibilities * Analyzing (sometimes loose) requirements from stakeholders and transforming them into robust clean code. * Continuously improve our systems architecture for best efficiency. * Be a prestigeless team player who believes that solid teamwork is the key to conquer. * Be economically aware and manage resources with respect. * Never discriminate on the basis of religion, origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, or disability. Experience * 3+ years of software engineering (preferably with languages from the functional programming paradigm) * Hands-on Amazon AWS experience. (Lambda, Elastic Beanstalk, RDS, ES - are some of all the amazing stuff we have built upon).
