The Global Marketing Department is looking for an Art buyer!

H&M Hennes & Mauritz AB is an international fashion company with a business concept to offer fashion and quality at the best price. Today there are around 3500 stores worldwide in 55 markets. The Marketing Department is our own global advertising agency where we create all of our multichannel campaigns and produce our marketing materials, consisting of approximately 400 employees. This is where our brand is built and nourished – making sure everyone loves fashion at a great price just as much as we do.

Role description:
The role as Art Buyer at H&M global marketing department is diverse.
You will work in a group of 15 art buyers. You will source photographers, stylists, illustrators and other creative players, as well as handle model / talent castings. The Art Buyer is responsible for budgets, production estimates, and preparing for photo shoots. The Art Buyer knows how to produce a wide variety of creative content and on different levels and needs. Day-to-day involves a lot of negotiations, having creative and production meetings, and administration. To be a teamplayer comes natural to us.

The team/individuals ambition is through high-quality advertising content boost sales and strengthens H&M as a brand.

We believe that you:

• Are an experienced Art buyer, or experienced as an agent, minimum 3 years, with a high interest in fashion
• Have good knowledge and genuine interest of international casting (models), photographers, stylists, etc. within the fashion industry
• Are in good contact with agents and other creative people within the fashion industry. Both in Stockholm and internationally
• Have excellent negotiation skills and always aim for the best deal!
• Good sense of teamwork and high service level ambitions as well as comfortable working independently
• Good knowledge and understanding of contract work
• Ambitious and a hard worker
• Unpretentious and open minded
• Seeks opportunities to learn and develop
• Fast learner and used to working with tight deadlines at fast pace
• A genuine teamplayer
• Are fluent in English, both spoken and written

Terms:
This is a full time position, temporary 11 months, at our Head office in Stockholm.
