Accountant to H&M Group i Stockholm

Finance and Accounting is responsible for making sure that the H&M group can handle all business initiatives in a legally compliant way and ensure that all brands and sales-channels are aligned from an accounting perspective. We are a strategic business partner and support the H&M group's business development in order to achieve our long-term goals. We are responsible for ensuring that the financial reporting keeps up with the high pace of the H&M group.

The AR & AP department

Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable (AR/AP) are two central departments within our function that works closely together with our H&M colleagues in accounting departments and production offices around the world.  Accounts Receivable is responsible for handling partner billing and we also handle the accounts for new business initiatives. Accounts Payable is responsible for handling all supplier invoices and payments within H&M group. We are now looking for two new colleagues to join our teams.

The job as an Accountant at H&M comes with lots of responsibility – and lots of fun.

Your responsibilities:

• Create invoices
• Check and book incoming payments
• Handle and monitor invoices
• Handle and monitor outgoing payments
• Account reconciliations
• Communicate and collaborate with internal partners and accounting departments
• Support partners on invoice related queries
• Develop and improve our internal processes and routines
• Having a global responsibility by ensure efficient daily operation in the global Accounts Payable team together with the Shared Service Center
• Ensure quality within your area through guidance of other departments and functions

• Degree within Business Administration & Economics (or similar) or equivalent experience within Finance/Accounting
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience within Accounting/Accounts Receivables ideally with understanding of VAT and stock accounting
• Fluent in English, booth in speech and writing
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience to drive and implement changes within Accounting
• You are curious and a fast learner
• Experienced excel user
• Experience from SAP Finance (user level)

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to customize communication to different needs when involving yourself in discussions with people from different functions and markets within the H&M Group.
