Junior Planner to H&M Sport i Stockholm

We are looking for a Junior Planner to H&M Ladies Sport, Stockholm, Sweden to join us securing this journey on a 1 year contract with possibility to extend. Since H&M Sport will be run essentially as a start-up within the H&M Group, the Junior Planner role requires an entrepreneurial and agile growth mindset. You will be part of building a new brand and assortment for our sporting Ladies customer. 

In this role you will work in close collaboration with the Product team as well as in cross functional collaboration with product support teams and other functions within H&M to secure the best customer offer. You will constantly follow, react and identify new sales opportunities based on selling, customer insight and surrounding analysis, in cooperation with the Product team​. 

Your main responsibilities will be to assist the Planner with: 

• You support in optimizing the product mix, planning and selling for every region to maximize meaningful growth and sustainable profitability.
• You support, together with the Planner (responsible) and the Product Manager (accountable), the global and regional article ranking.
• You work in tight collaboration with the Planner, Product Manager and the Business Controller to secure the best customer offer.
• Based on the department global assortment strategy, support to set the region-specific strategy to maximize growth and profitability
• Constantly follow, react and identify new sales opportunities and risks, based on selling, customer insight and surrounding analysis, in cooperation with the team
• Strengthen our regional omni experience and enabling seamless customer experiences and relevance  

To be successful in this role we see that you have: 

• A higher degree within business administration, buying or other relevant area 
• Earlier experience as Junior Planner or Merchandiser is meritorious  
• Earlier experience from working with Sportswear or a big interest in sport is meritorious
• A strong salesmanship and see opportunities for growth and profitability 
• Strong analytical skills and ability to turn the analysis to action  
• Informal leader, influences and coaches team members and leads by example 
• A passion for fashion and knowledge in what the customer wants and need at a specific time 
• Experience and knowledge in Excel 
• Great communication skills   
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
