The Head of Business Development (HoBD) is a leadership role within the Swedish Management team and will report to Chief Commercial Officer Sweden.  

Bluestep offers the right candidate a fantastic opportunity and a fully responsibility to manage the Business Development Function in Sweden, in a modern mortgage bank. The position is located at the head office at Sveavägen 163 in Stockholm city.

Purpose:

The HoBD is a central and important role within the Swedish mortgage business that will strengthen and coordinate our business development agenda. The main purpose of this role is to support our future growth agenda through a range of business development activities and support existing ongoing projects. Another important purpose is also to support the management team and other stakeholders within the company to develop a way of working that support a more customer friendly on-boarding through digitalization and effectiveness. You work collaboratively across the organisation to achieve our goals.

• Initiate, lead and coordinate product & process development that support growth and effectiveness within operations
• Identify and propose changes for customer on-boarding journey for low-risk segments through increased digitalization
• Review current on-boarding process and develop a new way of working in coming application management systems
• Developing in-depth knowledge of company offerings to identify profitable business opportunities
• Drive new technologies to improve processes
• Direct approach to drive cost-benefit analysis and propose changes in order to reach overall goals and targets
• Participate, contribute and develop future business management systems by working closely with the data and tech department
• Active role in the Swedish management team where you have a holistic approach
• Establish business development strategies to ensure overall organizational strategy is followed

 Your profile:

• Master’s degree in finance or engineering from the university
• Management consulting or Business Development experience from financial services or telecom industry is meriting.
• Meritorious if you have worked with mortgages/consumer loan business or similar from the financial industry.
• You possess a “can do attitude” with a strong ability to lead and drive development.
• Strong executing capability with the ability to successfully coordinate your team and project members.
• Excellent analytical skills and good knowledge of modern technologies and new market trends
• Develop dynamic business presentations and proposals for internal and external stakeholders
• Assist in preparing business plans and budgets for new commercial projects
• Having an in-depth knowledge of business products and value proposition
• High-level communication, goal-focused and organizational skills
• The ability to multitask and priorities your workload
• Project management and organizational skills
• The ability to think strategically
• Initiative and the confidence to start things from scratch
