At Longitudinal Vehicle Control we deliver features and innovations to enable the next generations of electric propulsion, self-driving vehicles and active safety technology. Vehicle Motion Controls aim is to control the vehicle in all six degrees of freedom by input from several sensor to control several actuators as propulsion, and chassis features. What’s in it for you?
As Function Design Engineer you will be part of a highly skilled team who develop and implement Function Design concept and requirement for Longitudinal Vehicle Control and Stand Still/Vehicle Hold. The Request are coming from driver in manual drive mode and automatic drive as ACC, Pilot Assist, AD, park assist and other active safety functions. For these functions the team need to balance customer experience as comfort, driveability, performance feel, excellent driver interface, safety and energy optimization.
What you’ll do
We are working with a variety of different areas and tasks such as functional, system safety concepts, architecture, and requirement towards ECUs, sensors and actuators. You will work closely to SW developer and vehicle and sub system test engineers, thus get a very good understanding of the complete vehicle system.
Your role and initial tasks will be based upon the competence and experience that you bring into the team.
Do you fit the profile?
You have experience with dynamic control algorithm systems e.g and a champion with Matlab/Simulink. Its also important that you have a holistic view and great systems thinking.

You are a technical-minded team player with the ability to work with different cultures. You have a strong analytical capability, is structured and organized in daily work, business and performance driven with a solution focused mindset.
We seek those that are open minded and have a good ability to cooperate, which is essential given the fact that you need to manage a broad network both internally and externally. You are a good communicator with ability to cope with many topics in parallel.
