Lead Engineer to Cyber Defence Center i Stockholm

What you will do as Lead Engineer

As a lead engineer in the Cyber Defence Center your main objective is to lead the team to become more efficient in developing sustainable solutions that makes the work to detect, analyze and respond to potential cyber-attacks more efficient and accurate. We believe in autonomous and self-organized teams, so we expect you to coach the team toward this goal. Your secondary objective will be to help the team with the daily engineering tasks. You will have the opportunity to work directly with those who are end users of the solutions you build - your colleagues. This will enable you to interact naturally throughout the development cycle, and to continuously improve with direct feedback. 

Opportunity & experience 

We believe you are a software engineer with an overall understanding in how your solutions will contribute and add value to different business outcomes. We believe you have previous experience in leading a team of software engineers with agile methodologies.

We expect you to have the following qualifications:

• Servant leadership style
• Good collaboration and communications skills
• Previous experience in leading teams of software engineers with agile methodologies
• Experience in creating OKR or similar metrics for tracking team progress
• Strong knowledge in at least one programming language and ability to learn new languages
• Strong knowledge in at least one data query language such as SQL, KQL or similar
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (Amazon AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience in building advanced, modern CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge in managing Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Written and verbal communication skills in English
