Do you want to work with one of the fashion industry’s biggest tech transformations and develop and manage H&M Groups API & Event Strategy globally?

You will be part of the API & Event Integration area. Our mission is to empower and enable product teams to deliver modern integration solutions in a zero-friction environment. As Integration Solution Architect, you will provide expertise and knowledge to support product teams to create modern and stable integration solutions, primarily focusing on API and Event-Driven Architecture and patterns. Your day-to-day job will cover everything from dialogues with Integration Domain architects, different product teams, business stakeholders, suppliers, and close cooperation with all functions within the Technical Service Area “API & Event Integration” to ensure alignment with the overall Integration architecture.

Responsibilities  

You will be a part of a team of amazing professionals, working daily make sure that overall identified improvements and activities are being executed and adapted to wanted position for the Service Area. Collaboration with stakeholders will be a part of your work and to spread the message what we are doing within the area to relevant functions that utilize our API and Event capabilities. You will, together with the team and Integration Domain Architect set the direction, develop, build, and manage the Event strategy, transforming our legacy integrations to utilize Event patterns where this is seen as a value.

Furthermore, you will:

• Participate in evolving our Integration strategy and ensure that we have the right tools & services that aligns with our strategy and architectural decisions
• Lead and create artefacts that serve as target state guidance (reusable standards, guidelines, individual parts, and configurations)
• Create architectural designs to guide and contextualize solution development across initiatives that aligns with business and IT goals. Evaluate, design and analyze the implementation of solutions
• Translate business and technical requirements into architectural blueprints and documents all solution architecture design and analysis
• Work closely with, and guide, stakeholders to create alignment between business, processes and technology
• Evaluate and drive continuous improvement, reducing technical debt, and enhancing end-to-end value business value.
• Participate in internal and external activities related to technology matching and selection to ensure technology choice aligns with overall tech architecture and business strategy
• Facilitate best practice sharing and teach architecture thinking to engineering and delivery community 

We believe you are a true team player who has several years of experience of global IT and complex integration landscape with good understanding of Agile methodologies. You take responsibility, work proactively and continuously improve activities in complex, quickly transforming environments You will be a key player in the Technical Service Area, and we believe you are adaptable, collaborative, open-minded and able to work in a flexible environment with a non-prestigious approach.  You have proven experience in designing, integrating, and supporting integration solutions in a multi-vendor/multi-cloud IT environment. You also have experience from working with APIs, Event and system integrations. You can understand and visualize concepts that are not yet concrete, and use your problem-solving skills, analytic ability, creativity and customer and business drive to find a solution. Furthermore, we believe you have:

• Experience in designing and best practices of integration solutions in a multi-vendor/multi-cloud IT environment
• Knowledge of Architecture frameworks and modelling techniques 
• Experience in Azure Integration Services and/or Google Cloud Integration Services and tools
• Integration development and software development in general
• Knowledge of Event-driven architecture and Event patterns
• Knowledge of API design patterns and practices
• Experience in CI/CD (e.g Azure DevOps, GitHub)

It is also beneficial if you have:  

• Knowledge of Event Mesh platform (e.g Solace)
• Knowledge of API security
• Experience of API management platforms (e.g Apigee or Azure API mgmt. service)
