Located in our Global Online Experience (GOX) product cluster organisation, the Future Retail & Assisted Shopping cluster is looking for customer-obsessed, relentless individuals who can help us achieve our targets.

 

What you’ll do
We are looking for a Product Manager Retail Agent Sales who take responsibility to develop and continuously enhance an integrated sales management solution for our retail partners, allowing them to efficiently manage their interactions and relationships with prospects and customers for our online direct business.

 

It will be your team’s ambition to turn the retail sales management solution into a one-stop, intuitive direct selling solution that is accessible from any device, enables an outstanding customer experience and maximizes the efficiency of retail partner sales operations. You and your team will play a decisive role in helping us to further grow our online direct sales business to the next levels by further expanding the set of sales management tools available to our retail partners and making it suit the needs of the everchanging automotive offer landscape.

 

You will develop the long-term product vision, tactical product release strategy, and drive execution of product releases based on an integrated understanding of customer behavior, business direction, anticipated market trends and the latest retail shopping technologies. It will also be your task to initiate and lead the collaboration with key stakeholders within Volvo Cars which is required to ensure commercial success.

 

You will lead a cross-functional matrixed team and work in close partnership with engineers, designers, analysts, and scrum masters in your team. 

 

You and your skills
You are a customer- and user-obsessed leader and accountable for the success and business impact of your product. You have a passion for sales and possess sound knowledge of retail sales processes in the automotive landscape. You solve problems going from the customer requirements based on consumer insights and data to how the technology works, and have an ability to quickly translate a business opportunity or need into product and technology dependencies. We also believe that you have an entrepreneurial mindset and are motivated by commercial success.
 

  • 3+ years of Product Management, preferably in a retail or sales environment 
  • Skilled at leading, influencing and developing cross-functional matrixed teams to successfully deliver against multi-track roadmaps
  • Proven track record of successfully implementing new concepts or programs in a fast-paced, digital retail environment
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or graduate degree preferred; education concentrated in business or technology fields is preferred
  • Possess strong decision making and prioritization skills with the ability to think end-to-end 
  • Excellent communicator, you are used to interacting with a wide set of stakeholders and to get buy-in for your ideas and roadmaps
