Join us and be part of Volvo Cars’ journey into the future.Job description:What’s in it for you?In product stream SWEP our purpose is to develop and deliver the vehicle software and electronics platform including computing infrastructure, the electrical infrastructure, common base technologies, core system application governance as well as an overall responsibility for the complete electrical architecture and integration. We are seeking a head of Solution Support (line manager function) that will be a servant leader by driving and organizing the supporting services for SWEP but also some of the services spanning across all the Research & Development department such as system safety. You will have a key role in our continuous transformation towards a modern and mature software organization fostering a culture where we continuously improve. You will be part of the SWEP leadership team and you will have an important role in our ability to deliver as a solution. To be successful in your role we assume that you are a great team player and are recognized for your collaboration skills.What you’ll doYour main responsibility will be governance and evolution of a broad set of support functions such as change management, business office, program support, system safety and finance. You will work close to product owner teams to ensure strategy and execution alignment, work with removal of impediments and drive continuous improvements based on learnings.You and your skills

Documented experience from senior leadership positions from large scale software development organizations is highly merited. We think you have a proven ability to track solve and/or escalate impediments. You should have a strong degree of business acumen in combination with the technical understanding of your area. We think you have a Master of Science or equivalent work life experience and technical knowledge in Software.
