Silex Microsystems is one of the foremost independent manufacturers of MEMS in the world with headquarters and factory in Järfälla.We are now looking for a Junior CAD-Engineer to join their amazing Design-team! As a CAD-engineer you work together with project managers to meet customers needs and guide customers to the best technical solutions. You are involved in development projects from start to delivery where you are responsible for the design throughout the project. You are expected to be able to find solutions and make assessments regarding functions in collaboration with other departments.Examples of tasks:

• Review design files and interact with customers to adapt customer's design to Silex manufacturing process and design ;
• Complete chip layout in CAD (Tanner L-Edit) and if necessary, develop new test structures for monitoring the manufacturing process and final testing.
• Prepare CAD documentation for, and order photo masks and plan and follow up the order to ensure that the right masks are delivered on time.
• Answer design-related questions to the customer and internally.

WHO ARE YOU?
We believe that you are a newly graduate - in Engineering, and want to start your career in the best possible way! If you have experience/knowledge of MEMS technology it's definitely a ;You also have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Preferable fields of study are:

• Electrical Engineering
• Engineering Physics
• Mechanics
• Other suitable academic background

As a person you are self-propelled and driven with a logic mind - you approach complex technical challenges with curiosity! You like to have a lot on your plate and have therefore understood the advantage of structure and to work methodically.
