DC HR Generalist

Our Distribution Center in Borås consists of more than 900 committed and motivated H&M colleagues who share our values and take responsibility for the logistics operations and distribution of fashion items for our online customers across Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

We are currently looking for a DC HR Generalist to join our team in Borås. Are you ready to take on the challenge?  

As a DC HR Generalist you implement and support on all areas of the employee lifecycle and all DC HR related matters.

• Support the area of local logistics Employee relations and ensure all people-related matters are carried out according to local labor law/ regulations, union/ work environment/comp & benefits, & H&M Group standards
• Execute the HR strategy covering all areas in the employee lifecycle. Help to create conditions for people which will enable the people to achieve short-term and long-term business goals
•  Implement and support all Employee Cycle DC HR matters
• Act as business partner & support DC leaders in any HR related area
• Ensure DC managers & leaders work with structured performance management guidelines for all employees in the DC
• Support DC Management teams to assess, coach & train talent
• Implement and execute Logistics Employee Branding (EB) strategy
• Support recruitment & selection processes, incl. local log. internship programs

• Solid knowledge in HR core activities (e g training, onboarding, recruitment) as well as DC operations
• Solid functional understanding of role requirements within DC across functions & interdependencies with the reg. / global org
• Excellent understanding of group’s values, culture, training initiatives etc.
• Solid understanding of local labor law and regulations
• Strong skills in communication, coordination, conflict resolution, disciplinary concepts and workplace investigations
• Holistic view for the bigger perspective with a visionary approach
• Ability to encourage collaboration, co-creation and people development by empowering others
• Agile mindset, positive attitude to change & meaningful growth
• Inclusive and empathetic towards others, encouraging diversity
• Self-awareness, understanding your impact on others and contribution to the whole group
• Swedish and English language skills, both written and spoken.
• Good Microsoft Office skills
• Many years of HR experience

University degree or similar higher education is an advantage

This is a full-time position starting with a probationary period of 6 months. The location is based in Borås and is part of the Logistic Region North Europe. As a DC HR Generalist, you report directly to the DC HR Manager. Start date by agreement.
