We are looking for a Head of Film Production for our Swedish production business!

Our production business covers all the key stages of the production cycle. We create films for a wide, global audience and consist of producers, scriptwriters and strategic film and TV development executives who are all experts in their respective fields. Simply, we put magic in motion.

Responsibilities
As Head of Film Production Sweden, you will lead and support our producers working with film as well as be responsible for developing a first-class film slate. More specifically, you will:

• Be strategically responsible for the Swedish film slate, which includes
  • Leading the Film Production team in Sweden to execute and develop on a selection of broad audience films for either cinema or streamers (Approx 2-3 films per year)
  • Ensure a strong pipeline of family/children’s films consistent with SF Studios’ history (e.g. Lasse Maja, Mamma Mu, Nelly Rapp) largely for cinema (1-2 per year)
• Maintain and create strong connections with Creatives for current and coming projects to achieve a strong film slate
• Manage relationships with major financiers (traditional and streamers) on behalf of our films together with the EVP Production
• Co-leadership of Production Sweden and shared P&L responsibility
• Provide top-notch leadership, including managing the film producers on a daily basis, creating a good work environment and building a strong, dedicated and engaged high performing team
• Personnel responsibility also includes performance and development reviews, staffing, ongoing coaching, salary reviews, etc.

This role is located in Stockholm, and you will report to our EVP Production. You will have direct management of 6-8 direct reports.

• Previous experience working with film and/or TV drama production
• Strong leadership skills
• An understanding and interest in the economics of film production in Sweden
