Head of Financial Controlling to SF Studios! i Stockholm

Job Description

We are looking for a business-oriented Head of Financial Controlling to lead our Financial Controlling team, work closely with our business areas as well as other colleagues within Finance.

Responsibilities
The finance team provides financial expertise to all our businesses and across all of SF Studios’ locations. As Head of Financial Controlling, you will lead the Financial Controlling team and work closely with SF Studios four business areas production, distribution, acquisition & licensing, and SF Anytime. The role as Head of Financial Controlling includes the following areas of responsibility:

Accounting, group reporting, tax, and audits

• Ensure that financial records are in line with legal requirements and SF Studios group policies
• Ensure harmonized IFRS accounting principles within subsidiaries in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Finland, and UK
• Monthly consolidation and financial group reporting to Bonnier Holding
• SF Studios transfer pricing, VAT, and tax matters
• Cooperation with our owner Bonnier Holding as well as coordinate audit processes for SF Studios in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, and UK

Business support and projects

• Manage financial controlling projects aiming at higher quality and efficiency as well as take lead regarding financial controlling in companywide projects
• System owner of Agresso, Palette, and other financial controlling systems
• Develop and manage services from external financial partners including our shared service center Cognizant
• Cash management and cash flow forecasts
• FX reporting and FX hedging

Lead the Financial Controlling team

• Provide great leadership to further strengthen and develop the team and secure that the team is appropriately staffed with the right competencies and capabilities.
• Lead and coordinate the operational work for the Financial Controlling team on a daily basis
• Have regular dialogues with your team members, including feedback, coaching, appraisals, salary reviews, and talent management

The Head of Financial Controlling reports to SF Studios’ CFO and is part of our Nordic finance team in Stockholm, Helsinki, Oslo, Copenhagen, and London. The position is based in Stockholm.

Requirements
To be our next star, we believe you have:

• A Master’s degree in finance (or equivalent)
• + 10 years of experience in a similar leadership position within financial controlling/accounting
• Experiences from IFRS accounting, VAT, tax, monthly closing, group consolidation, cash flows and working capital, FX, and managing an outsourced shared service center
• Experience from entertainment, tech, telecom, media, or fintech business is advantageous, but not a must
• Experience form accounting of IP rights and project accounting
• · Skills in Excel and PowerPoint
• Fluent in English and Swedish.
