What you'll get to do
- Ensure our most critical, large-scaled, services are highly available to millions of consumers
- Maintain, monitor and upgrade our databases to ensure smooth and stable production environment
- Do performance checks along with installation and upgrades of the databases
- Collaborate in a dynamic and autonomous environment and work closely with other SRE & DBA engineers
- Be part of a team that will take full operational responsibility for the services and take part in an on-call rotation

To succeed in this role, we think you should have
- Experience of relational databases, DB upgrades and patching
- Experience of query optimizations
- Familiarity with scripting languages (ideally Python)
- Experience with disaster recovery processes
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and build automation tools
- Good communication skills in English
