We are now looking for a Leadership Development Expert to join the Leadership Product Team which sits within the newly formed Global Talent Management function responsible for the entire talent journey. You will work closely with the other product teams including Performance and Culture, Diversity & Inclusion.
You will be part of a dedicated team, that is responsible for developing and delivering leadership development offerings that empower Volvo Cars' leaders to become true role models of our corporate culture and leadership principles. The development also includes related talent management offerings, and the team works according to agile principles. In this role, you will deliver global leadership development offerings globally. You will work together to develop new learning solutions and act as a subject matter expert in leadership.
Who are you?
You are passionate about leadership and learning, with the ability to quickly inspire confidence in a group with your facilitation style. You are business and customer-oriented with a global mindset – driving results as well as handling unexpected and conflictual situations. You are on top of the latest research in the field and curious to continuously find ways to meet demands in the changing environment. You will be digitally savvy and have experience in developing online learning programmes.
You have experience in developing and executing leadership development programmes in different companies on a global level. You have a strong motivation to learn and a solid understanding of leadership research, that you have been able to apply successfully in companies. You have a university degree in social science, psychology, or relevant work experience. Managerial experience is a merit while proficiency in English is a must.

What you'll do:
Based in Gothenburg this global role will require a person who either has worked with leadership development in large companies or who has the mindset and motivation to be developed. The person must be able to work with the repetition of first-time leader development programmes, as well as have a willingness to learn how to develop senior leaders. Credibility as a facilitator is essential and the ability to deal with challenging questions from leaders and maintain trust is crucial.
Furthermore, in the programme's development, you will support business leaders with their leadership forums and Management Teams’, the leadership expert works closely with the other talent management teams offering a seamless talent journey to all our employees. Examples of work here could include running workshops for the female mentoring programme, supporting the performance team to create a culture of feedback, and building a learning organisation. The opportunities are limitless for the right person in this role.
