Insight Lab is one of Volvo Car Open Innovation Arenas successful internal start-ups. The Open Innovation Arena is a construct based on the idea that innovation is a companywide matter, the arena is a place of participation reaching beyond the company. Insight Lab
Within Volvo Cars Open Innovation Arena, Insight Lab created itself three years ago as an Internal Start-Up and has since then proven its strong value to many thousand collaborators. Now Insight Lab is quickly scaling up, and we need you to help us redefine our organization as an established Lab as well as our main product, UNIFY, Volvo Cars own Knowledge Graph platform. 

Insight Lab enables Volvo Cars to fearlessly ride dependencies and complexity. We give people decision-making superpowers by revealing all sorts of actionable insights hidden within Volvo Cars data sources. We believe knowledge can be made available to everyone. We do that by effectively breaking silos throughout the company with the help of exciting and limitless graph technologies and graph data sciences.

What You’ll Do
You will support various Graph projects running at Volvo Cars and will actively co-develop Volvo Cars ever-growing Knowledge Graph.
Volvo Cars Knowledge Graph supports the company in understanding its complete structure from many different perspectives (organization, competencies, products, projects, etc.) and enables enhanced collaboration and quality.

You will be one of Volvo Cars Graph's experts and will actively contribute to the democratization and spread of graphs throughout the organization.

Required Skills
•    Experience within Graph Data Management and Graph application development
•    Understanding of the knowledge graph concept
•    Good knowledge within Graph theory and Graph Data Science

Meritorious Skills (any of the following)
•    Neo4j, Cypher query language
•    Neo4j GDS (Graph Data Science) library
•    Programming languages: Python, Java or Scala
•    Data/BigData processing pipelines such as Spark with Kafka
•    NLP (Natural Language Processing)
•    GNNs (Graph Neural Networks)
•    Machine learning libraries (tensorflow, pytorch, theano)
•    Exposure to visualization techniques (topological analysis, concept maps, graph)
