Volvo Cars Service Business is the on a transformation journey and we at Service concepts play a vital role in making transformation happen. Service Concepts is a unit within Volvo Cars Service Business, Service Operations & Technology. Our purpose is to drive transformation of the service network by developing and implementing sustainable service concepts that drives profitability, efficiency and enables service excellence for our consumers. For example, we own and implement the Customer Service Process, the Volvo Personal Service concept (VPS) and the Damage Repair concepts and methods. We also drive digitalization of our Customer Service Process and our service and repair processes. Now we need a new colleague to our team.
What you will do
Business Developer will maintain and develop collaboration between our National Sales Companies (NSC) / Markets and Volvo Cars Service Business
You will ensure compliance of implementations of our Damage Repair project and processes.
The role is about, to secure that the NSC / Markets has the competences and processes needed for the Damage Repair business and also supporting them in training and explain their role when starting projects or implementing new processes.
Furthermore, you will deliver projects according to plans agreed between Central/Region/NSC, act on issues in agreed plans, escalate if target not met in plans and act on all relevant support requests from NSC / Markets.
You need to collect new ideas and business opportunities from Retailers and NSC / Markets to ensure that these are evaluated centrally as improvement.
You and your skills
You have good knowledge of Customer service process and proven Project and Change Management skills.
It’s meritorious that you have proven experience from the automotive retail, customer service environment and markets (NSCs, retailers, customers) as well as experience from business models.
You have experience from commercial business and preferably also experience from working with suppliers and an Agile way of working.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English) and ability to travel is important.
On a personal level
We are looking for a person with good written and verbal communication skills. You have experience from quickly learning new contexts and an ability to communicate and describe those for a third part.
You have a strong drive to deliver, so a doer mentality and a “can-do-attitude” is important. You are a team player who enjoy interacting with people and understand that collaboration will be key to get things done and make real impact.
You are structured and good at planning and a person that enjoys taking own initiatives and to drive continuous improvements.
