The Engineering & Operations Business Office is looking for a Roadmap Lead for the Global Manufacturing Digital Product Area! Global Manufacturing Digital is providing the digital infrastructure to nine manufacturing plants globally. The challenge ahead is to transform and future-proof a legacy setup, all while expanding the manufacturing footprint to new plants. The transformation is already in motion, but there are many considerations and crossroads ahead. Your role is to ensure that the strategic roadmap is defined and delivered with transparency. It involves balancing different stakeholder needs to find effective and scalable solutions covered by available budget frames. It’s a challenging and exciting job that you will perform in collaboration with your colleagues in the Global Manufacturing digital management team. 
 

What you’ll do:
•    Facilitate and enable digital direction and functional strategies based on Volvo Cars’ strategic agenda
•    Ensuring that the quality of roadmaps is sufficient and underpinned by realistic ambitions and feasibility to execute
•    Facilitating portfolio balancing and prioritization of content and funding on a running basis 
•    Defining and measuring delivered value and performance 
•    Problem-solving, Data analysis, and Effective Communication
•    Senior Leadership interaction and Decision Facilitation

 

Who you are:

We’re looking for you who are experienced in managing roadmaps for complex programs and/or portfolios but also, in finance management in an agile environment.  We see that you are experienced in handling financials for large initiatives and/or portfolio management, furthermore, you’re willing to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders of different skill sets and seniority levels.  You have the ability to visualize information and create presentation material to achieve a common understanding, direction, and decision-making.  We see that you have Agile product development knowledge and management in an agile environment and significant experience in applicable office tools; MS Office, Excel, Teams, etc.  It is a plus if you have experience in IT/digital, automotive environments, SAFe, and/or management consulting experience.

 

As a person, you have a holistic viewpoint and are value-oriented, with an ability to inspire and motivate others in working towards a goal.  You are communicative, flexible, and adaptive to the extent of being an excellent navigator in conflicts of interest and resolver of impediments, aiding the team in having the right focus. Last but not least, you are a true team player that believes in collaboration, you are flexible, open to new ideas and always looking for ways to improve.
