About our team R&D – Radar sensing 

Our department consists of around 200 persons that are responsible for the Active Safety platform and enabling Driver Assistance and Collision Avoidance functions. We are also responsible for making Autonomous Drive become a reality for the customer in the near future. To make this happen we are working closely with different stakeholders, function responsible, software developers and our external partners. 

 

Within our small team, Research and Simulation we are working with radar simulation and research and developing radar Software In the Loop (SIL). 

 

We are now looking for a Radar Simulation Engineer, in our Radar research team. 

 

You are a driven and self-motivated team player that likes to work in an agile development organisation. We are three teams of approximately 25 people working with our radar sensing Platform in current and future cars. Our team have a high level of trust and each team member is responsible to contribute to our team delivery and discussions. We are focusing in research together with external partners and work mostly with our future radar sensing platforms.   

 

Your key tasks 

As a Simulation and SIL engineer, you will be in the centre of the development. You will solve complex problems with an analytical, systematic approach. In your work you need to be able to work in a structured way, adopt to new tools, have a clear communication, and has easy to connect to stakeholders. You need to have the ability to balance expectations and needs in coming platforms. It is a close collaboration between teams working with development of sensors, software, sensor fusion and external partners e.g. Universities. 

 

Do you fit the profile? 

You have a solid background in automotive radar industry and have experience from simulation, signal processing, SW development and data analysis. You have a MSc within electronics, mechatronics, software or similar, have been working with Phyton or Mathlab. It is good if you have knowledge of OSI (Open Simulation Interface) , OpenDrive, OpenScenario and C++. You have ability to communicate in English and work well with others to ensure functionality in their design and being able to meet strict deadlines.
