Junior Royalty Controller to leading film and TV studio! i Stockholm

Job Description

Do you excel in royalty administration and are passionate about films and TV series? Look no further - we are now looking for a Junior Royalty Controller to join our Royalty Team at SF Studios.

Our film and TV rights are crucial to us and our royalty handling is at the heart of our business. The relationship with our partners and rights holders are key to us, therefore reporting and presenting sales and royalty information in an accurate and timely manner is essential. The royalty team has been working hard on implementing a new royalty system and there will be a need to continue to develop internal processes and ways of working to have continuous improvement within this area.

Responsibilities

As part of our Royalty Team, you will be part of our core royalty business and responsible for managing royalties to ensure that our rightsholders receive royalty reports and payments on time.

More specifically, this means that you will:

• Prepare royalty reports and royalty payments in a timely manner
• Reconciling and calculating royalties for internal and external counterparts
• Analyze royalties of film and TV production rights
• Handling rights and royalty registrations in our Rights and Royalty management system
• Work in close cooperation with our commercial and rights colleagues
• Handle ongoing contacts with external rightsholders and respond to questions regarding rights in film productions and TV series
• Reconciliation of specific balance accounts
• Assist in internal and external royalty audits
• Work with continuous improvements in royalty processes and systems
• Ensure that the rights of external parties are in line with contracted film and TV production agreements

The position is based in Stockholm, but it is a Nordic role where you will have stakeholders throughout the Nordic countries. The role reports to the Royalty Manager and is part of our Nordic finance team.

Skills & Requirements
To be successful in this role you:

• Have 1-3 years of experience in finance
• Hold a Financial university degree or equivalent
• Skilled in Excel
• Are Fluent in English and Swedish
