We work in a fun and high pace environment that also includes Connectivity, Infotainment, Car Cloud and Remote Functions, and you now have the possibility to join Vehicle Data & Diagnostics department.
At Vehicle Data & Diagnostics, we put high quality vehicle data at the fingertips of engineers and enable uptime through diagnostics. We do in-house development of software (embedded & cloud) for diagnostics monitoring, fault isolation and data collection, and we also support all of R&D with diagnostics requirements and diagnostics design as well as data access & analytics tools. We are one of the key enablers for a true data-driven organization!
We are looking for a Product Owner for our Fleet Learning team with an ability to create a good network with stakeholders within Volvo Cars. As a Product Owner in our team, you will be part of the team trio (Product Owner, Scrum Master and Team Manager) and also our product leadership team.
What you’ll do
The main responsibility of this role is to be the interface to several stakeholders within Volvo Cars who need support for getting measurement data from our cars. As a Product Owner, you work together with Team Manager and Scrum Master to build, refine and decide the roadmap and team backlog. It is important to maintain good dialog with all our stakeholders both for team intake and as the team ambassador. We believe that you are proficient in communicating the data collection service we provide and the insights that can be gained from the data. The team has the end-to-end responsibility to ensure the functionality and quality our complete data collection system; all aspects of collecting, storing, accessing, analyzing and providing value to our customers. Your team will set the end-to-end requirements for the data collection system based on input from internal and external stakeholders, and map those to the roadmaps of corresponding development teams within our department.

As our next colleague we see that you have a MSc Degree in a relevant area (e.g., Electrical and/or Software engineering, Computer Science) or equivalent expertise with 5+ years of experience working within a relevant area. We believe you have experience from working in a technical leader role as Product Owner and that you have worked with SW development and have experience working in an agile development environment and within early phases. Your English is fluent, both written and spoken, and you have proven ability to inspire, challenge and lead teams
