About us 
The Audio Systems group is responsible for both Hardware, Software and System development of all audio functionality in the cars. Apart from the sound systems the responsibility also includes systems like ANC (Active Noise Control), Microphones, Bluetooth Handsfree and Exterior Sound for Hybrid/Electrical vehicles. Project Management and Audio Tuning is also part of the group’s responsibilities. Our daily work includes transforming ideas into innovations to meet the high standards of future vehicles. 

We are looking for a software responsible to join our audio systems team.

What you'll do
You will manage the software developed at the supplier. A key responsibility in this role is to compile the technical requirements from the various stakeholders and make sure that the supplier has accepted the scope for the development. Later on in the development review the test and validations results together with the supplier. Once the software is delivered you will ensure that it gets distributed for internal testing. We document the software for release to production and aftermarket in systems like *KDP, System Weaver and secure steps in the quality process.

Engineering Database, Volvo Car Corporation KDP is an administrative data system from which you can retrieve information about the appearance of the car in its different variants, the Change Orders which have been issued, etc. KDP has been up and running since 1979 and currently has more than 10 000 registered users. Every year these users are pressing the ENTER and the F-keys (transactions) of a total of 12 million times , which makes KDP the most used of VCC’s computer systems.

We are working agile and you will be part of a team working in a common prioritized backlog owned by the product owner (PO). You will be supported by developers in the surrounding teams for the technical details and specific tasks. 

Who you are
You would bring either your current/previous Volvo Cars software experience and ways of working or similar relative automotive industry experience. 

You would bring a passion to collaborate with people as well as support the roll-out of our new technology. You are engaged with a curious, open-minded and positive approach. You like structure and have things organized and well planned. In this role, English is the business language, so it would be very beneficial that you are fluent in English both verbal and written.
