Internship at Volvo Cars 

Are you a student interested in the mobility of the future and curious about life at Volvo Cars? Then our internship can be something for you! As an Intern at Volvo Cars Olofström and the People Experience department, you will with different HR related questions. Spending some time in our team is a great way for you to get an insight to what life at Volvo Cars can be like and gives you a basic understanding of our HR operations. It also provides you with a strong network in our organization, which can be of value in your future career. 

Background
Just over 2,500 employees work at Volvo Cars Body Components in Olofström (VCBC). Approximately 85% of our employees belong to IF Metall's collective agreement. We have a long history of producing body components for Volvo Cars and we are proud of what we accomplish. At the same time we are constantly developing as a company to be an obvious part in the future. 
 

In our PX-team in Olofström we have different roles. Some of us work as HR business partners/HR generalists and some of us are specialists in areas such as labour affairs, recruitment, rehabilitation, competence, talent attraction or inclusion/diversity. Our role is to support and coach our managers in all HR related matters. We work locally but belong to a global organization.
 

In our profession, it includes everything from holding training courses, participating in management teams, meeting employees in rehabilitation processes and carrying out different types of investigations.

Scope
If you do your internship at VCBC you get the opportunity to see how we at PX work in our everyday life and you get a chance to see how our processes work. 
 

We like you to share your theoretical knowledge with us so we can have a joint learning and develop as a PX-team.
 

Your contribution is our future
We are looking for a student who are studying HR at a university or college and want to do their VFU/internship in the spring of 2023 with us.
 

It is important that you can speak and understand Swedish as large parts of the business use Swedish as their working language. 
 

We expect you to be open and curious.
 

Duration
The VFU/Internship will start in Mars/April 2023, or when appropriate in your study plan.
