We see risk management as an enabler for performing changes with both quality & speed, and we need someone that shares this view and is dedicated to optimizing it.

Day to day will see you
    • Be the team expert in risk and compliance matters
    • Lead and drive 1st LoD risk management improvement initiatives which have Klarna wide impact
    • Assist in leading and performing risk identification & risk assessments for major changes within the New Product Approval (NPA) process
    • Coordinate the NPA process, as well as track and manage the NPA pipeline
    • Review incidents and support in retrospectives and root cause analysis
    • Manage audits and follow up completion of mitigations
    • Apply both a helicopter perspective as well as have the ability to go into details
You should have
    • Applicable work experience in an operational risk management function or financial services risk advisory environment of 2 to 5 years
    • The skillset to explain risk management; both to an inexperienced audience, and to members of Klarna’s Management team
    • Experience working in a regulated environment
    • Strong attention to detail and experience in using structured approaches to problem-solving without losing the big-picture perspective
    • Strong stakeholder management skills
    • Passion for collaborating with colleagues across the organization
    • Experience in securing success in own and other's deliveries
    • Team player
    • Working proficiency and communication skills in verbal and written English
