We are looking for a Product Owner for our software installation product used to update vehicles and test objects in early stages of the car lifecycle. You will, as part of the Vehicle Software & Installation ART, be responsible for enabling configuration & development of a vehicle and its software, by offering continuous updates of in-car software.

 

You will be a key person in a global organization with a clear vision to provide competitive advantage. You will lead the team and the product roadmap and be the one that not only sets exciting scenarios, but also makes them go live and secures a better user experience every day!

 

What you’ll do
As a Product Owner you will own, build, prioritize, decide and refine the stories in the Team Backlog including defects and enablers as well as approve and sign Change Orders for the product. 

 

We are looking for a product owner profile that wants to work very closely with the team and the technology of the product.

 

You will also participate in the development of acceptance criteria for stories and draft them when feasible. You will review and reprioritize the backlog as part of sprint planning, including coordination of content dependencies and negotiation with relevant stakeholders.

 

You will protect the long-term technical integrity of the product and involve the team in backlog refinement to achieve minimum handover and maximum joint understanding.

 

You feel that you own the scope of the upcoming work and you collaborate with our technical leads to make efficient decisions regarding key technological infrastructures.

 

You will draft the team’s specific objectives for the upcoming program increment and participate in demos and retrospectives.

 

Lastly, you will participate as a member of the extended Product Management team and review and contribute to the program-level vision, roadmap, run-rate and delivery.

 

Do you fit the profile?
We believe that you have an IT University degree or equivalent education with prior experience as a product owner. To be successful in the role you must be fluent in English.

 

We are looking for someone with seniority & experience from working with adding value by owning and deciding upon priorities in the Team Backlog from a business perspective. You will streamline execution while maintaining technical integrity of the product for the team.


We believe that you have good knowledge about embedded systems in terms of microcontrollers, vehicle architecture & communication protocols as well as ISO standards in this area. You have experience in vehicle function development/calibration/verification and are familiar with diagnostic services.


We see it as very positive if you have experience with software development in technologies such as C# and .NET


We believe that you have a strong leadership profile and are passionate about developing people and delivery. You have a solid agile understanding and mind-set with experience and the ability to act as a leader, mentor and coach peers.

 

Your ambitions and excellent communication & negotiation skills are as important as your technical interest and skills. 

 

You have experience of working with digital transformation in a business-critical area. You are strong in business acumen and stakeholder management including suppliers.

 

You have a structured way of working. You are self-motivated with a strong ability to co-operate, and networking comes naturally for you. 

 

Location for this role: Gothenburg.
