What’s in it for you
We are looking for our next committed and collaborative colleague who is eager to join us as Logistic Facility Engineer. You will work with a team in our new Volvo Car Plant in Kosice, Slovakia (VCK). This role aims to deliver all facility and related equipment in logistic area according to project request plan, also follow regulations from government and Volvo Cars.

What you will do
As our next Logistic Facility Engineer, you will build up plant logistic facility standard process, rules and action follow as well as process and certification application. You will be responsible for early involvement of project research and provide professional solution, include building, water supply and drainage, air condition, electric engineering, fire protection, power system.
Your responsibility will be also to manage and follow up building and project facility request in whole process, including Volvo and local government request. You will build detail logistic facility building and delivery plan, tracking daily or weekly for delivery status. You will check and verify the drawings, prepare the technical specification of utility for bidding documents, coordinate and solve the tech problem during the construction, responsible for the change order control and management in relation to power supply system, responsible for test run and commissioning of power supply related equipment. Your task will be to also support the work from other functions (ex. Safety, security, communication technology, IT…)
You will be responsible for communication with government closely to secure the relevant utilities outside of factory are secured both project and operation and also for the operation and maintenance of the power supply system and related equipment during operation. You will work closely with other departments to secure the stable energy supply and facility running in good situation. It will be within your scope to manage the activities of contractors for logistic business, including quality, schedule and safety etc.
Do you fit the profile?
We believe you are a person with a relevant engineering degree and extended experience in industrial construction and utility operation and maintenance. OEM experience is merit. We believe you are familiar with civil and structural design and construction specifications. You have ability to master and use professional drawings; ability to coordinate to solve on-site problems. It is important that you are fluent in English, both spoken and written.
