About the programme   

Take the opportunity to join our 5-month-long career-boosting Internship Programme together with other students from around the globe. 
 
You will have a full-time paid temporary employment and all positions are located at our headquarter in Gothenburg, Sweden and you are expected to be onsite. All students start together in the beginning of February 2024 and end by the end of June.    

The Internship Programme offers common onboarding days, developed business understanding, personal-development opportunities, mentorship, and joint activities with the other students.

What you’ll do 
 

Within User Experience, that is part of our Research & Development organization. you will conduct UX research to understand the process of idea generation to implementation. Part of your tasks will be to build and implement new tools and methods to enhance workshop delivery. More details on the project that you will be working on as well as the team which you will join will be presented at a possible interview with the potential manager/mentor.   

Are you the one we are looking for?   

To be eligible to apply you need to be enrolled at a university and have an ongoing Bachelor (3rd and 4th year) or master's education during the Internship programme. To be a fit for the programme you have ongoing studies within the areas of Interaction or UX design, Information Visualization (in combination with some of the others), Service Design or similar. 

 
If you have knowledge of tools like Miro, Figma or similar then that is a great plus! Please submit your portfolio with your application if you have one. 

We believe that you are a great networker and communicator. You have a positive attitude, and are interested in developing yourself, others, as well as our business. 

As we are an international workplace, you need to be fluent in English, spoken and written.  

The programme is open to applicants from all over the world and we welcome diversity in all aspects. For international applicants you must hold a passport that is valid for at least 6 months after the end of the programme – Volvo Cars will support in the visa and relocation process. The extent of the process may vary depending on nationality, current location, and other individual circumstances.

• Selected candidates will be invited for a final interview with the hiring manager, via Microsoft Teams
