Bosch R&D Center Lund stands for modern development in cutting edge technology in the areas of connectivity, security, mobility solutions and AI. We are growing rapidly and looking for people to join us on our mission to become the Bosch Group’s 1st address for secure connected mobility solutions.  We are working on a range of interesting projects, with a particular focus on software development for the automotive industry, electrical bicycles and Internet of Things. 

You will be part of a team that deliver comprehensive cloud infrastructure and software tools to support various Bosch projects. As a Senior Cloud Engineer, you will be involved in a wide range of topics, e.g.

• Manage and operate our Kubernetes infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
• Design and develop common components to improve the efficiency and usability of our Kubernetes infrastructure.
• Design containerized workloads together with application teams.
• Monitor and optimize cluster, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to enhance the overall system.
• Build cloud solutions that combines Kubernetes workloads with managed services.

In order to be successful in this role, you need the following skills (highest priorities on top):

• Proven experience with Kubernetes and strong knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, deployment, and operation.
• Experience with building monitoring solutions, e.g. Elasticsearch, Datadog, Prometheus and similar.
• Golang programming language.
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience of containerization technologies like Docker.
• Micro-service architectures.
• Knowledge in Azure cloud services and Infrastructure as Code technologies, e.g. Terraform.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and practices, e.g. Github Actions.
• GitOps for automatic deployments

Personal profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong sense of quality, customer and goals focus.
• Strong communication skills, excellent social skills, positive attitude and a true Team player in highly collaborative work.
• Continuous learning mindset, motivated and curious.
• Has strong critical thinking skills and is proactive and autonomous.
